PASSER BY DETECTOR SCHOOL PROJECT (Using INFRA RED LED)
In PASSER BY DETECTOR School Project, If any person or object passes by this project, The circuit becomes active and LED light becomes turned on and Beep-beep sound is generated.
Materials Required
STEPS TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT
STEP 1: Connect Transmitter LED
- First, identify the +ive terminal (Longer leg) and -ive terminal (shorter leg ) of IR transmitter LED
- Insert the +ive end to +5 V and -ive end to a 120 ohm resistor.
- The other end of resistor goes to GND.
STEP 2: Connect Receiver LED
- First, identify the +ive terminal (Longer leg) and -ive terminal (shorter leg ) of IR Receiver LED (also known as Photodiode)
- Insert the -ive end to +5 V and +ive end to a 10 kohm resistor.
- The other end of resistor goes to GND.
STEP 3: Connect Potentiometer
- Connect the One end terminal to a +5V
- Connect the other end terminal to a GND
- Connect the middle terminal to the pin 3 of OP-AMP
STEP 4: Connect OP-AMP LM358
- Connect the One end terminal to a +5V
- Connect the other end terminal to a GND
- Connect the middle terminal to the pin 2 of OP-AMP
STEP 5: Connect Output LED/BUZZER
- Connect the +ive end (longer end) of LED to the output of OP-AMP PIN 1.
- Connect the +ive end (longer end) of LED to the 220 OHM Resistor.
- Connect the other end of Resistor to GND.
